Texas local counsel is Dallas, not Colorado.
Robert C. Newark, III is licensed in Texas. Out-of-state counsel use this desk for Dallas and statewide Texas appearances, pro hac support, and local-counsel filings. Colorado, New Mexico, and Arkansas are federal-admission screens, not the primary local-counsel product.
Colorado, New Mexico, and Arkansas are federal-admission screens, not this product. How the lanes split
1. Who is asking
Lead counsel’s bar, the court, the case number, and whether this is state or federal. Texas and Oklahoma state-court local counsel is the ordinary path.
2. What we can sign
Licensed in Texas and Oklahoma. Federal admissions also cover Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arkansas. That is not the same as originating every state-court foreclosure in those last three.
3. What we do not pretend
A Colorado Rule 120, a New Mexico petition, or an Arkansas statutory sale is not an Edmond local-counsel appearance unless the piece is federal or we associate counsel there case by case.
Desk checklist
- · Get the court, case number, and hearing date
- · Confirm lead counsel’s jurisdiction and what they need signed
- · Do not route a Texas visiting-attorney file onto the Colorado page
